About the label

Fat Rooster Entertainment.

Independent record label and production company based in Austin, Texas. Artist development, recording, production and worldwide distribution.

Who we are

The song comes first.

Fat Rooster Entertainment makes records that take you somewhere. We sign a small number of artists, produce every record in-house, and build each release around the song, not the trend.

The label was founded in 2026 by producer Diesel and co-founder Goldie, who runs the business. Fat Rooster is built to be a real home for artists: hands-on production, real attention and a plan for every release.

No genre fences

We work across every genre. Country with steel drums, pop-rap with a sax solo, or a straight-ahead rock record. If the song is honest, it fits.

A small roster, on purpose

We sign fewer artists so each one gets real attention: time in the studio, a release plan and a team that answers the phone.

The producer in the room

Diesel produces every record hands-on, working side by side with the artist from the first idea to the final mix.

Built for the long run

We plan careers, not one-off singles: the songs, the visuals and the story, release after release.

Producer Diesel, founder of Fat Rooster Entertainment
Founder & producer

Diesel.

Diesel is the producer behind every Fat Rooster record. He works hands-on with each artist on the roster, from the first rough demo to the final mix, and his job is simple: find the hook, build the song around it and make a record that takes you somewhere.

He doesn't believe in genre fences. One week it's a tailgate country song, the next it's island rock with the windows rolled down. What ties it all together is the feel: songs that sound like summer, with a little grit and a lot of heart.

Right now he's focused on the roster, signing new artists, building their sound and getting the next record out the door.

The studio

The Coop.

"A record should sound like the place it was made."
Diesel

The Coop is Fat Rooster's home base, where Diesel and the artists build the songs together. It's one room, one console and no clock on the wall.

Sessions run on the artist's schedule, not the calendar, and the best ideas tend to show up right around sunset.

Co-founder

Goldie.

Goldie co-founded Fat Rooster Entertainment and runs the label: artists, business and release strategy. She's also the one telling Diesel which take is the keeper.
